| European AI Week 2026 — Shaping a Sovereign Future, Brussels, March 16–22 |
Blue41 hosted a discussion on AI security at the European AI Week 2026, the flagship conference on shaping Europe’s AI Sovereignty. Thomas Vissers and Tim Van hamme shared their perspectives on controlling risks in agentic AI as part of the broader conversation around Europe’s role in the AI landscape.
Much of the European AI sovereignty debate focuses on foundational models, compute, and infrastructure. Blue41 brought a complementary perspective: sovereignty also requires the capability to protect AI systems and control their risks in production. As AI agents gain access to sensitive data, tools, and business processes, Europe’s ability to adopt AI at scale will depend not only on what it can build, but also on how securely and independently it can govern that adoption.
The event brought together policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders at a moment when Europe is actively shaping its AI strategy. Blue41’s presence reflects its commitment to making AI agent security a visible and urgent part of that conversation.
